A Personal and Meaningful Funeral Ceremony

Arranging a funeral ceremony is not something that most of us are prepared for.  It can feel stressful and overwhelming, particularly when we are experiencing the shock of losing someone.  As a fully-trained Independent Funeral Celebrant based in London, I am committed to enabling people to create a funeral ceremony that feels right and meaningful for them.

Many people nowadays aren’t affiliated to a particular religion but they still have their own beliefs and values.  With sensitivity and care, I work with people to create a unique and personalised ceremony; one that leaves them with a sense of having fully celebrated the life of their loved one.

If you contact me, I will visit you in your own home and take the time to listen to you in order to get a real sense of the person who has died.  I will explain the structure of a funeral ceremony and guide you through all the possible options; providing help if needed, with readings, music and other personal touches that will make the ceremony special.   I will then go away and compose a unique and beautiful script for your approval.  I will deliver as much or as little of the ceremony as you require on the day, depending on how much you and others may want to participate, and I will provide support for participants if needed.

I am deeply committed to conducting dignified and meaningful funeral ceremonies where everyone is welcomed into an atmosphere of warmth, support and respect.

Planning your Own Funeral

If you are nearing the end of your life and wish to arrange your own funeral ceremony – I will work with you in a way that feels manageable for you.  I will help you create the ceremony that you want and when the time comes, I will work with your family and/or friends to make sure that your wishes are fulfilled.
